Between the Var and the Alpes de Haute Provence, the creation of a dam on the Verdon gave rise to Lac de Sainte-Croix. Among the wooded hills of the Var hinterland, this vast expanse of pure water is a delight for water sports enthusiasts. You can not only swim on the beaches, but also go sailing or pedal-boating in complete peace and quiet: motorboats are prohibited.
